The market has filled the city parking lots on Gilman Street, between Forest and Hamilton avenues, since 1981. It is run by an all-volunteer board of community members and donates its annual proceeds to the local nonprofit Avenidas. It operates year-round, rain or shine, with live music on market mornings.
