About

Opened in 1943 as California's first farmers market, Alemany is still known as the People's Market. It fills a dedicated lot at 100 Alemany Boulevard with free on-site parking, and many stalls are family farms that have sold here for generations. Foodwise took over operations in early 2026. EBT and WIC are accepted.
