Dear
Baker,
July 26, 2004
After 20
years of running our own Bakery at the Marin Civic Center Markets, we
are looking at opening a new “Bakers Row” where Bakers can rent spaces
and sell their own product direct to the consumer just like the Farmers
and Artisans. You are one of the first ones to get an invitation because
of your present history with our organization. I believe these spaces
will fill up quickly so act fast! We have approximately 15 spaces for
bakers and specialty foods on Sunday at the Civic Center & up to 10
spaces on Thursday at the Civic Center. Once these spaces are filled
there are no more spaces until someone drops out…so get your application
in as soon as possible.
The
spaces will be $40 a day for a ten foot space. You can leave your
vehicle behind your space. You will need a Vehicle Health permit from
the Marin County Health Department 499-6907. I have enclosed an
application which states everything that we need to get you into the
Markets. If we get enough interest to fill the spaces we will then
present the applications to the Board of Directors and they will make a
decision at the August 19 Board meeting whether or not to pursue the
“Bakers Row”. Once we have your applications and the Boards decision we
will call you the week of August 23 for a possible start date of
Thursday, August 26th and Sunday, August 29.
If you
have any questions please feel free to call me at (415) 456-FARM.
This is
all very exciting, I hope you’ll join us. Change is Rejuvenation!
Thanks,
Brigitte
